When I am
Afflicted...
The troubles of my heart
are enlarged. O bring Thou me out of my distresses. Look
upon mine affliction and my pain, and forgive all my
sins. - Psalm 25:17-18
Many are the afflictions of the righteous; but the Lord
delivereth him out of them all. - Psalm 34:19
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment,
worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of
glory. - 2 Corinthians
4:17
For Thou wilt save the afflicted people; but wilt bring
down high looks. For Thou wilt light my lamp; the Lord,
my God, will lighten my darkness. - Psalm 18:27-28
For this shall every one that is godly pray unto Thee in
a time when Thou mayest be found; surely, in the floods
of great waters, they shall not come near unto him. Thou
art my hiding place; Thou shalt preserve me from trouble;
Thou shalt compass me about with songs of
deliverance. - Psalm
32:6-7
Consider mine affliction, and deliver me; for I do not
forget Thy law. - Psalm
119:153
